The MAPA program, created and administered by TechBA Michigan, is specifically designed to assist small and medium size suppliers currently struggling to profit in the industry or thinking about entering this market. TechBA Michigan is a bilingual and bi-cultural organization that understands and knows the international automotive industry, and its purchasing and negotiation culture.
MAPA assists in the internationalization of Mexican automotive suppliers through a project that leverages the opportunities available in the global automotive industry. This program has three phases of implementation.
In the first phase, an onsite assessment of your current capability will be made using the ‘TechBA global automotive supply chain assessment tool’.
The second phase will be the introduction to the Michigan automotive ecosystem. The company’s key decision makers are encouraged to visit the TechBA Michigan office for participation in an automotive event, visits to current or potential clients and review of the internationalization project and implementation of the action plan.
In the final phase, a review of the best strategy to enter and grow in the global automotive industry will be made. An action plan for the most effective way for implementing the strategy will be included.
